Important Information On How To Order Medication
This section gives information on how to order ANY medication. It doesn’t matter whether it is medication on repeat, acute, something you are trialling with the GP, something you had a year ago or something you have just forgotten to order. The process is always the same.
How To Order
Place your ticked repeat slip in the wooden collection box in the foyer. Do Not hand in to the dispensary.
Write your name, date of birth and what you need on any slip of paper and place it in the wooden collection box in the foyer. Do Not hand in to the dispensary.

Requests MUST be put in writing. We CANNOT accept medication requests of any kind over the phone.
Please remember that all prescription requests take
48 working hours
We cannot guarantee the availability of any prescription if this 48 hour requirement is not adhered to.
This 48 hours is used to check if the item requested is okay to be issued and that any required monitoring is up to date. The prescription is then printed and sent to the GP for signing. The GP will make similar checks before signing the prescription and returning it to the dispensary. If the request is for something not on repeat the GP will need to investigate further before authorising a prescription. This process takes place between surgeries and house calls.
Prescriptions will be available for collection after 4pm on the designated day or any time thereafter.
